Richard Philips "Dick" McCally

Graveside services for Richard Phillips "Dick" McCally, 65, of Beaverton, Ore., are Wednesday at noon at Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles, by John McCally, brother of Stephen Ministry.
Mr. McCally died Saturday, May 2 at 12:01 a.m. at his home in Oregon, following an extended illness.
He was born Oct. 9, 1932 in Niles. He lived in Beaverton since 1965, moving there from Detroit.
On May 6, 1956 in Ferndale he married the former Lois J. Mitten, who survives.
Mr. McCally graduated in 1956 from Michigan State University, East Lansing, earning a bachelors of arts in business, and serving in the ROTC. He continued his military service in the U.S. Air Force.
He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1994 as staff auditor, having served for 25 years. He enjoyed his family and helping his neighbors.
Survivors included two daughters, Barbara Myers of Sandy, Ore. and Patricia Monteith of Port Townsend, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and a brother, John McCally of Minneapolis, Minn.
There will be no visitation; arrangements were made at Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles.
