Mrs. Elizabeth Montgomery, 87, of 726 North Fourth Street, died at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday in Pawating Hospital here where she had been a patient since Feb. 6. She had been in poor health for some time.
Mrs. Montgomery was born Aug. 7, 1870 in Princeton, Ind., and came to this community three years ago from Chicago to make her home. Surviving are: three daughters, Mrs. Bess Williamson, of Niles, Mrs. Florence Gerulas, of Glendora, Calif., and Mrs. Mabel Wilcox, of Chicago; four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Pifer Funeral Home here with the Rev. L. George Beacock, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home.”
