Beverly Ann Plew Obituary
Beverly Ann (Hulett) Plew, a beacon of love and faith, passed away on December 21, 2024 in her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 92 in Niles, Michigan. Born on April 3, 1932, in South Bend, Indiana, Beverly was the cherished daughter of the late Vernon and Georgia Hulett. She was the heart of her family, a guiding light whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she knew.
Throughout her life, Beverly was known for her unwavering kindness and her deeply rooted faith. She dedicated over 50 years of her life as a devout Jehovah's Witness, living her beliefs through her actions and the love she shared with others. Her faith was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through the joys and challenges of life with grace and resilience.
Beverly's legacy is carried on by her loving family. She was a devoted mother to Jim (Linda) Plew, Jean Johnson, Jerry Plew, and June Speegle (Sam). She is preceded in death by her eldest son Jack Plew. Each of her children was a testament to her exceptional nurturing and boundless love. She was a sister to Sharon McElroy and Shirley Burks. She is preceded in death by Veron Hulett, David Hulett and Darlene Hulett. Her siblings remember her as the glue that held the family together, always there with a listening ear and a comforting embrace. She was also a devoted grandmother, great grandmother and a great- great grandmother. She is preceded in death by 2 grandsons. She is an aunt, great Aunt and a great- great Aunt. Beverly was the last living Matriarch in her family and will be sorely missed.
Her professional life was marked by years of dedicated service, where she was not only a colleague but a friend to many. Beverly's work ethic and collaborative spirit were admired by all who had the pleasure of working alongside her. She also found joy and purpose in her involvement with various associations, where her contributions were both meaningful and lasting.
Beverly's interests were a reflection of who she was at her core—an exceptionally sweet and kind soul. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, cherishing every family visit as a highlight. Her presence was a gift, and those who knew her will forever remember the laughter and love that filled the room whenever she was near.
To describe Beverly as loving and kind hardly does justice to the profound impact, she had on those around her. Her faith-filled life was an inspiration, and she lived every day with an outpouring of love that knew no bounds. Beverly's character was marked by her selflessness and her constant consideration for others.
As we bid farewell to Beverly Ann (Hulett) Plew, we celebrate a life beautifully lived—a life of devotion, compassion, and unwavering faith. She was a treasured mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, 2nd great grandmother and friends whose memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those she touched. Beverly's love and spirit will continue to shine brightly, guiding us through our days with the same grace and love she so generously shared.
Her journey on earth may have come to a close, but her influence remains unending.
