Emma V. Renterghem, 84, of 1329 Woodland, Portage, Mich., died Friday, Jan. 14, in Kalamazoo, after a short illness.
She was a retired employee of Spencer’s Dry Cleaners and was a five-year resident of Kalamazoo, moving there from Niles.
Born Jan. 8, 1899 in Fergus Falls, Minn., she married Joseph Renterghem in Fergus Falls in April 1929. He died in December 1942.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. JoAnn King of Portage and a son, Lemont Renterghem of Greenville, Mich. She had five grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 17 at the Pifer-Smith funeral Home. Burial will be at Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends will be at Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday.
