Marjorie Lucil North, 91, a resident of the United Methodist Home in Chelsea, died Wednesday at 10:15 a.m.

She was born Nov. 18, 1895 in Brooklyn.  She was a Western Michigan University graduate and taught in Niles for 38 years.  She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, the Fort St. Joseph Historical Association and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include a sister, Alice Heberle of Chelsea and a niece, Marjorie Whitaker.

Services are Saturday at 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Home Chapel. Rev. James Simmons will officiate. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles.

Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Home. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Home.
