News in Brief: COMMITTAL SERVICES
The body of Mrs. Matilda Bracken will be brought to Niles from Wabash, Ind., tomorrow on the Big Four train due at 12:35 and will be taken directly to Silver Brook cemetery for burial in the family lot. Rev. H.T. Scherer will conduct the committal service. Mrs. Sarah Matilda Carter Bracken was born in Brooklyn N.Y. on July 30, 1939. She was married to John C. Bracken on Feb. 14, 1859, at Monmouth, Ill. She is survived by one son, John Bracken, and one grandson, Harold M. Bracken, of Wabash, ind. The deceased was for many years a resident to Niles and was highly esteemed. She died Sunday morning at the home of her son in Wabash.
