Mrs. Reed Bracken, an old resident and highly-esteemed old lady, died at her home in this city yesterday morning, aged 80 years. The funeral occurred this afternoon from the residence. Rev. J.T. Lowrie officiated.

Mrs. Reed Bracken, one of the oldest and most highly esteemed ladies of this city, died last Sunday morning in her 81st years. Hannah Callahan was born in Philadelphia, Penn, Nov. 18, 1807. In her early youth she removed with her parents to Cannonsburg , where she was reared and joined the United Presbyterian Church and in which denomination she retained a membership to the day of her death, being a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Chicago. In Cannonsburg she was marred to her late husband, Reed Bracken, the two coming to Niles in 1855. Mrs. Bracken leaves three sons, Reed, Jr., John and Wm. W.,and two daughters, Miss Rebecca Bracken of this city, and Mrs. John McDonald, of Jackson. The funeral took place Monday afternoon Monday afternoon from her late residence, the services being conducted by Rev. J.G. Lowrie, of the Presbyterian Church.
