NILES—Oral R. Pointer, 63, of 536 Cherry St., died at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Pawating Hospital, after being in ill health since Nov. 23.
A plater at National Standard Co. for 27 years, Mr. Pointer was born Jan. 13, 1907, in Avdola, Mo., and had lived here since 1941, coming from Parma, Mo. On July 29, 1934, in Parma, he married the former Hazel Goble, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Oral G. of Niles; five daughters, Mrs. Genetta Hooten, Mrs. Geneve Pears, Mrs. Joyce Vaughn, and Margilean and Pamela Pointer, all of Niles; a brother, Glennie Pointer of Niles, and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the First Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Harold Boland officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.

NILES—Funeral services for Oral R. Pointer, 63, of 536 Cherry St., who died Tuesday in Pawating Hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the First Assembly of God Church.
Officiating will be the Rev. Harold Boland. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
