Thomas William Stokely, 604 South St. Joseph avenue, died at (illegible text) p.m. Wednesday in his home, after a seven month illness.
He is survived by his widow, Emily; one daughter, Mrs. Wayne Weller, Niles, one son, Chester Stokely, Tulane University, New Orleans, La.; three grandsons; one brother, John D. Stokely, Big Rapids,, and three sisters, Mrs. Libby (illegible text), Niles, Mrs. Bell Schubarge, Big Rapids, and Mrs. Elmer (illegible text).
Stokely was born on June 3, 1889, Dark Co., O. and came to Niles from Big Rapids (illegible text) repairman for the New York Central Railroad Company.
He was married Nov. 26, 1911, to Emily Erickson, in Niles.
Friends may call at the Pifer Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. G. A. Steeby, Evangelical United Brethren Church officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
