Frank C. Teske, 69, a resident of Niles since 1905, died Tuesday night at his home, 1431 Hickory street, following an illness that last nine months.
Friends may call the Kiger funeral home where services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. HughLee officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
Survivors include: his widow, Harriett; two daughers, Mrs. Gladys Brockway and Mrs. Jay Griffee, both of Niles; four sons, Edward, Clifford and Gaylord, all of this city, and Frank Teske, Jr., of Jacksonville, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; two brothers, Otto of Mishwaka and William of Hammond, Ind.; three sisters, Mrs. Leonard Lacer, Mrs. Gusta Spaulding and Mrs. Joseph Brylewski, all of South Bend.
Teske was born in Winona, Minn., on July 14, 1883, and came to Niles from South Bend 47 years ago. He was an employee of the French Paper Company for 32 years and a member of the local Moose lodge.
Mr. and Mrs. Teske celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in April 1951.
