Caroline Bullard Dies at Age of 86
Mrs. Caroline G. Bullard, 86, of 201 North Seventh street, for many years closely identified with church and educational work in the county, died this morning at 9 o'clock in Pawating hospital. Her death followed an operation performed 10 days ago.
Mrs. Bullard was born in Niles township in 1846, and had been a lifelong resident of Niles and vicinity. For many years she had taught in schools near Niles. She had been active in the work of the First Presbyterian church, of which she had been a member for nearly half a century, and where she had taught a Sunday school class for the last 22 years. She also took a deep interest in the affairs of the missionary society. Among her activities outside church work was the Monday Reading club, of which she was a charter member.
The nearest surviving relatives are Mrs. C. Armstrong, Berrien Center, a cousin, and W.G. Armstrong, 705 Oak street, Niles, a second cousin. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in the First Presbyterian church, the Rev. Guy W. Simon officiating.

SURVIVORS OMITTED
Names of several of the surviving relatives of Mrs. Carrie Bullard, 201 North Seventh street, who died Thursday morning were omitted from the list in Thursday's issue of the The Daily Star. Those who were not mentioned are three brothers, Iof, William and John Fisher, all of California, and six nieces, Mrs. Carrie Lacey, Mrs. Anna Young, Mrs. Pearl Pirse, Mrs. Mary Bell, Mrs. Cora Austin and Mrs. Minette Ginn, all of California.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bullard will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday church with the Rev. Guy W. Simon, officiating. Interment will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
