NILES—Mrs. Emma Helen Martin, 61, of 548 W. Main St., died at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday in Pawating Hospital after an extended illness.
Born March 18, 1910, in Fulton County, Ind., Mrs. Martin had lived here for 51 years, coming from Rochester, Ind. She married Kenneth Martin, who survives, on Nov. 12, 1939, in South bend.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Martin is survived by a son, Jack of Niles; a brother, John Dale Wolf of Buchanan, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Pifer Funeral Home, with the Rev. William O'Leary of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Dowagiac, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
