Mrs. McBain, 85, Dies After Being Ill Two Months
Mrs. Fanny McBain, 85, died at 3:45 am. today at her home at 8 North St. Joseph avenue where she had been ill two months.
She was born in Whitewater, Wis., Sept. 30, 1859, and came to Niles from Coldwater, Mich. She lived here since she was seven years old.
Surviving are five grandchildren, Mrs. Donna Walis, and Barbara, Jacqueline, Keith and Hardy Langston,Jr., all of Niles. Her husband, Charles McBain, died Dec. 23, 1925.
Friends may call at the Pifer funeral home where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Harry Nicholson. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.

McBain Rites
Funeral services for Mrs. Fanny McBain, 85 of 8 North St. Joseph avenue were conducted this afternoon in the Pifer funeral home by the Rev. Harry L. Nicholson. Mrs. McBain, died early Tuesday morning. Burial was in Silverbrook cemetery.
