FRANK H. BAIR, 83, DIES TODAY

Frank H. Bair, 83, of 226 North Sixth street, died at 9:30 this morning in Pawating hospital following an operation two days ago.

Born near Canton, O., Aug. 5, 1861, Bair moved to Michigan at the age of 17 where he lived on a farm north of Niles. He retired from the Michigan Central railway in 1931.

Surviving are two sons, Gordon and Edwin T. Bair, both of Niles. His wife died April 28, 1942.

Friends may call at the Pifer funeral home. Services will be conducted there at 2 Friday by the Rev. J. Kenneth Hoffmaster, pastor of the Methodist church which Bair was a member. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.

BAIR RITES

Funeral services for Frank H. Bair, 83, of 226 North Sixth street, were conducted Friday afternoon at 2 in the Pifer funeral home. Burial was in Silverbrook. Bair died Wednesday morning in Pawating hosptial[sic].  Pallbearers were John Scamehorn, Albert Gross, Leland Funk, Henry Starke, Ralph Quick and Rolfe Taylor.
