Funeral services for Theodore D. "Ted" Schrader, 80, of 1911 S. Third St., Niels, are schedueld afor 2 p.m. Tuesday at Halbritter Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray C, Cunningham of Niles, the Rev. Raymond S. Anderson of First Baptist Church and the Rev. Kris Johnson of Bertrand Bible Church officiating.
Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery.
Schrader died at 1:55 a.m. Saturday at Berrien General Hospital following an extended illness.
Born Nov. 20, 1912, in South Bend, he was a resident of the area all his life.
In December, 1931, he married the former June Clara Keck, who survives.
He retired in 1973 after 41 years of service at Tyler Refrigeration. He was a charter member and long-time Missionary Treasurer of Bertrand Bible Church. He was a member and former chaplain of the Tyler Foreman's Club.
Other survivors include two daughters, Lila Coates of Dundee, Ill., and Karen Parker of Smyrna, Tenn.; two sons, Tim Schrader of Niles and T. David Schrader of Niles; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Byrd of Berrien Springs and two brothers, Ed Schrader of Niles and Joe Schrader of Niles.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Halbritter Funeral Home.
