Funeral services for Darcy F. Salisbury, 59, of 743 Maple St., will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Kiger funeral Home. Dr. Maurice McKean, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate. Masonic graveside rites will follow in Silverbrook Cemetery.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at 4:20 a.m. today at Pawating Hospital, where he was taken by the Niles city police and the fire department rescue squad. He suffered an apparent heart attack at 4:09 a.m. at the National-Standard Co., where he had been employed 17 years as a machinist.
Mr. Salisbury was born Aug. 13, 1902, in Dayton. He came to Niles from Buchanan 26 years ago. He married Edna Dellibac Oct. 24, 1936, in Peoria, Ill. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Tom, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Jackson, Indianapolis, Ind.; and a brother, Harold, Roseland.
He was a member of the First Methodist Church, St. Joseph Valley Lodge No. 4, Free and Accepted Mason, and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon.
Friends are being received at the funeral home.
