Funeral services for Betty W. Deyo, 71, 1855 Champlain, Niles, are Tuesday at 2 p.m., at Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles, by the Rev. Nolan R. Williams of Wesley United Church. Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery, Niles.
Mrs. Deyo died Saturday, Dec. 13, at 6:10 a.m., at Golden Place Assisted Living Facility, St. Joseph, following an extended illness.
She was born Jan. 17, 1926, in Cleveland, Ohio, and had lived in Niles since 1967, coming from Ohio.
On Aug. 28, 1954, in Fort Wayne, Ind., she married Robert C. Deyo, who preceded her in death May 20, 1987.
Mrs. Deyo was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, and also a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Niles. She had worked as a legal secretary for Berrien County Legal Services, Niles.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan R. Tinkey of St. Joseph; a son, Peter W. Deyo of Cumming, Ga., three grandchildren; and a sister, June Huffer of Lexington, Ky.
