NILES--Bert Dickeson, 91, of 911 S. Third St., died at 6:35 a.m. Wednesday at the Michigan Skilled Care Center following an extended illness.
A retired railroad employe, he was born March 23, 1886 and had lived in Niles since December, 1973, coming from Buchanan.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Silverbrook Cemetery mausoleum with the Rev. Arnold O. Schaap of Edwardsburg officiating.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Halbritter Funeral Home.
