Robert Dixon, 61, an employe of the Four Flags Hotel here for 26 years, died at 6:35 p.m. Monday in Pawating Hospital following an illness of one year.
Dixon was born Aug. 10, 1892, in Henderson, Ky., and came here from South Bend in 1925. Surviving are: his wife, Melba; five daughters, Mrs. Rufus Leath, Mrs. Leon Scott and Mrs. George Mason, all Niles and Mrs. Oscar Jones Jr., and Mrs. Whitman Franklin, both of South Bend; seven grandchildren; two brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m.Thursday in Mount Calvary Baptist Church here with the pastor, the Rev. Richard Alexander, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends may call at the Kiger Funeral Home.
