MRS. WILDA V. MEAD
Funeral services for Mrs. Viola Mead, 73, of 1605 Cherry St., who died Sunday at 1:40 a.m. at her home, will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Kiger Funeral Home. The Rev. A.L. Maki, pastor of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
She had been ill several years.
Mrs. Mear[sic] was born Sept. 1, 1880, in Churubusco, Ind. She came to Niles from Cassopolis in 1921, and spent the rest of her life here. Her husband, Lemeul, died in 1951.
Surviviors[sic] include two sons, Otto Anderson and Edgar Mead, both of Niles; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Imus, address unknown, and Mrs. Dorsie Cramer and Mrs. Charles (grace) Bailey, both of Niles; two brothers, Ive Runnion, Elkhart, Ind., and Edward Runion, Garrett, Ind.; 10 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
Friends are being received at the funeral home.
