Leon Clifford Albright

THREE RIVERS – Leon Clifford Albright, 78, of 1700 South Main St., a former Niles City policeman, died at 8:45 p.m. Saturday in Sturgis Hospital, after a three year illness.
The retired owner of the Southern Inn Tavern, Three Rivers. Mr. Albright was born Jan. 5, 1891, in Niles and had lived here since 1947, coming from Niles.
Mr. Albright is survived by four daughters, Mrs. June Lewis, Kalamazoo, Mrs. Fred Wealef, and Mrs. Joan Barkman, both of Kokomo, Ind., and Mrs. Earl Lintz, Three Rivers; two sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Stall of South Bend and Mrs. Otto Fenska, Round Lake, Ill; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Pifer Funeral Home, with the Rev. Arlan Schlundt of the St. Johns United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be at Silverbrook Cemetery.
