Adolph G. Panhurst, 66, of 735 Broadway, died early today at Pawating hospital following an illness of five months. He had been seriously ill since Sunday, when he was removed to the hospital.
Panhurst had been a resident of Niles since 1903 and worked as a commercial artist in this area for many years.
He was born Jan. 10, 1881, in Gelsten Kirken, Germany; upon arrival in this country he first settled in Erie, Pa. He came to Niles from Erie.
He is survived by his wife, Julia. Private funeral services will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. in the Kiger funeral home with Charles Kitterer, of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, reader, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
