Services for Max Sherburn, 34, who was killed in a car-truck crash near Dyer, Ind., early Thursday, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Pifer Funeral home.
The Rev. T.M. Greenhoe will officiate at the service, and burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Carrie Sherburn, of Kalamazoo; his widow, Lydia, and one daughter, Norma Jean, of 964 South Thirteenth street, and his brothers and sisters, William, of Mattawan;; Lloyd, of Lawton, Mrs. Dan Brewer, of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Stanton Tharp, of Niles, Lester, of Niles, Carroll, of Vicksburg, and Mrs. Louis Forbes, of Kalamazoo.
Sherburn was born in Decatur on Sept. 9, 1916, and came here from Kalamazoo 10 years ago. He was employed by Long's Texaco service station here.
