William P. Lardner, 83, of Duluth, Minn., the brother of Ring Lardner, famous Niles humorist, died Sunday night in Duluth. he was a former Niles resident, and the brother of two local residents.
Among the survivors are a sister, Miss Lena Lardner, of 103 South Fourth street, and a brother, Henry Lardner, of 518 South Third Street. The body will be brought here for burial, but funeral arrangements are incomplete.

LARDNER RITES SET
Funeral services for William P. Lardner, of Duluth, Minn., who died Sunday night, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Trinity Episcopal church here, with Rev. Cooper, of the Dowagiac Episcopal church, officiating. Friends may call at the Kiger funeral home. Burial will be in Silverbrook also surviving is another sister, Mrs. Richard G. Tobin, of Long Island, N.Y.
