Mrs. Mable V. Schrumpf,, 60, of 318 North 13th Street, died at 5:40 p.m. Friday in her home following a year of poor health.
Mrs. Schurmpf was born March 14, 1897, in Clinton County, Ind., and had lived in this community for the past 45 years. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Reformed Church and the Women's Guild of the church.
Surviving are: her husband, Albert G.; a daughter, Mrs. Winston Sands, of Niles; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. John Burge and Mrs. Walter Sutton, both of Niles, and a brother, Delbert Susan, of Albuquerque, N. Mex. A daughter, Mrs. Robert Rood, preceded her in death on April 23, 1956.
Friends may call at the Pifer Funeral Home until noon Monday when the body will be removed to St. John's Evangelical Reformed Church, where services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. by the pastor, the Rev. Herbert Meussling. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
