Mrs. Lillie Maude Waugh, 78, of 210 North Lincoln Avenue, died at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday in Pawating Hospital where she had been admitted a few hours earlier. She had been ill for three years.

Mrs. Waugh was born May 22, 1879 in Niles and had lived 30 years in Iowa before returning to this community in 1928. She was a member of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church and the Past Noble Grand Club of the Rebekah Lodge.

Surviving are: her husband, Lemuel T. Waugh; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel T. Johnson, of Griffith, Ind., and Mrs. Grace B. Miller, of Niles; a son, Floyd E. Waugh, of Niles; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Edmund E. McCoy, of Niles and Floyd J. McCoy, of Ames, Iowa; and a sister, Mrs. Ethel N. Seely, of Niles.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Kiger-Halbritter Funeral Home here with the Rev. Gordon Everett, pastor of the Evangelical United Brethren Church, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
