Michael Dale Backus

NILES – Michael Dale Backus, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Backus, 236 Katherine St. was stillborn at 4 p.m. Friday in Pawating Hospital.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Backus of Buchanan and Mrs. And Mrs. LeRoy Hydorn of Cassopolis and great-grandparents, Mrs. Roxie Everman and Mrs. Clyde Stevens, both of Niles.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. today in Silverbrook Cemetery, with the Rev. Fred Wilkis of St. Paul’s Lutheran church officiating.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Pifer Funeral Home.
