William Bachman

William Bachman, 76 of 1331 Broadway St., died at home at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Survivors include his wife, Anna; a daughter, Mrs. Stewart Savely of Niles; a son, Vernon of Niles; two brothers, Herman of Niles and George of Ypsilanti; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Mr. Bachman was born in Germany, Oct. 15, 1888 and moved to Niles with his family when he was one year old. Before his retirement he worked for the National Printing and Engraving co.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Arlan E. Schlundt of St. Johns United church of Niles at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Pifer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Silverbrook Cemetery.
