SEBASTIAN BACHMAN DEAD
Pioneer Niles Man Passes Away This Morning
Sebastian Bachman died of heart disease at 1:30 o’clock this morning at his home on Barrett Street, West Niles, after a lingering illness. Mr. Bachman was born in Germany 59 years ago and had been a highly respected resident of Niles for many years. He is survived by a widow and seven children, the later being, Fred, Hartman, Charles, William, Emil, Hermann and Chris, all of this city.
The funeral will take place at the home at 1 o’clock next Friday afternoon, and at 1:30 o’clock services will be conducted at the German Evangelical Church by Rev. F. Rahn. Interment will take place at Silverbrook Cemetery.

Sebastian Bachman, a highly respected resident of West Niles, passed away last evening at 11 o'clock after a lingering illness from heart disease.
Mr. Bachman was born in Germany, Oct. 9, 1849. He came to Niles about 40 years ago. Besides a widow, seven sons all of whom reside in Niles, survive him. The sons are as follows: Fred, Hartman, Charles, Emil, Herman, Sebastian and Christian.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from St.John's German church, Rev. F. Rahn officiating. Interment will occur at Silver Brook.
Mr. Bachman was a member of Niles Tent K.O.T.M.M, the German Workingmen's association and the Benevolent society of St. John's German church.
The funeral of the late Sebastian Bachman will be held from the late residence in West Niles at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon and from St. John's German church at 1:30 o'clock.
