NILES—Mrs. Maida Mae Hickey, 67, of 2749 Paul St., died at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday in Berrien General Hospital, after being in poor health for the past eight years.

Born May 19, 1903, in Richland, Mich., Mrs. Hickey had lived here since 1948, coming from South Bend. On May 23, 1923, in South Bend, she married Clarence Hickey, who survives. She was a member of the Auxiliary to the American Legion and the Auxiliary to Four Flags Barracks of Veterans of World War I.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hickey is survived by two sons, Harold of Niles and [illegible] of Jerome, Idaho; six daughters, Mrs. Sam Rosetta, Mrs. Albert Hoadley and Pauline Hickey, all of Niles, Mrs. Charles Poorman of New Buffalo, Mrs. Earl VanKirk of Elkhart and Mrs. George Berry of Gladstone, Mich.; a brother; three sisters and 24 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Pifer Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ralph Bowman officiating. Burial will be in Truitt Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call after 7 tonight at the funeral home.

NILES—Survivors, in addition to those listed Wednesday in The Star for Mrs. Maida Mae Hickey, 67, of 2749 Paul St., are a brother, Wilbur Runyan of Pierson, Mich., and four sisters, Mrs. Hazel Dysard of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Helen . . .[illegible]. . .City, Mich., Mrs. Beatrice Chalibi of Wooster, Mass., and Mrs. Letha Powers of Grandville, Mich.

Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery rather than in Truitt Chapel Cemetery as earlier announced by the Pifer Funeral Home.
