MRS. LOIS MARSHALL DIES JUST 3 MONTHS AFTER HER HUSBAND

Surviving her husband, rFed[sic] Marshall, by just three months, Mrs. Lois Marshall, 52, died last evening at 8 o'clock at her home 204 S. St. Joseph avenue. After Mr. Marshall's death in Sturgis on June 4 and the burial services in Niles. Mrs. Marshal remained in Niles on account of her own ill health and a few weeks later secured a home here. Her death followed seven moths of severe illness and suffering.
The funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon at the Troost & Augustine chapel. The Rev. John Willis of Sturgis, who conducted the funeral services for Mr. Marshall and who is pastor of the Presbyterian church in Sturgis will officiate. Burial will be made in the Marrs family lot in Silver Brook cemetery.
Mrs. Marshall was born in Niles on August 19, 1878, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Marrs. She grew to young womanhood here and was married in Niles to Mr. Marshall. They then went to Freemont, Ohio, and later returned to Niles. Mr. Marshall conducted a pool, billiard and restaurant business in Niles for about 15 years and five years ago the family moved to his former home in Sturgis. Mrs. Marshall is survived by two sons, Fred, who last June completed four yours of his course in business administration at University of Michigan and who is now in Niles and Donald Marshall, also at home. Besides the two sons . . . [illegible] . y one sister, Mrs. Paul Krietner of Petoskey.
Friends may call at the home to view the body until near the hour for the funeral services. Mrs. Marshall was a member of the Woodmen Circle, an auxiliary to the Woodmen of the World order.

Niles News in Brief: TIME FOR FUNERAL CHANGED
A change has been made in the time for the funeral services for Mrs. Fred Marshall. The service will be held at 2:30 in the Troost and Augustine chapel. The Rev. John Willis of Sturgis, will officiate. Burial will be made in Silver Brook cemetery. Friends may call at the home, 204 S. St. Joseph avenue, until afternoon tomorrow to view the body.
