NILES -- Mrs. Mary A. Coleman, 91, of 328 1/2 Michigan St., died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the Quick Convalescent Home, after an illness of several months.
Born May 18, 1878, in Ireland. Mrs. Coleman had lived here since 1896, coming from Kalamazoo. On Sept 21, 1895, in Kalamazoo, she married Salter D. Coleman. He preceded her in death in 1938.
She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Paul of LaVerne, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. V. M. (Gladys) Meeker of Niles; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Fretner of Ypsilanti and Mrs. Rose O'Neil of Battle Creek; six grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. John D. Slowey officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
A rosary will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday in the Halbritter Funeral Home, where friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday.

NILES -- Rosary services for Mrs. Mary A. Coleman, 91, of 328 1/2 Michigan St., who died Thursday in the Quick Convalescent Home, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Halbritter Funeral Home.
