NILES--James Hart, 77, of 911 S. Third St., died at 2:45 a.m. Saturday at Pawating Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born Nov. 7, 1897 in Atlanta, Ga., and had lived here since 1972, coming from Kalamazoo.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Earlene Oglesby of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Silverbrook Cemetery with the Rev. W.L. Daniel of Mr.[sic] Calvary Baptist Church officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by the Halbritter Funeral Home.
