Ralph Burdue, 70, of 988 South Fourteenth street, died at 2:15 a.m. today in Pawating hospital, after an eight-year illness.
Surviving are his widow, Minnie, their children, Mrs. Claude Young, Joel Burdue and Mrs. Elias Runyan, Niles, Mrs. Edwin Ray, of Kokomo, Ind. and Eugene Burdue, Great Lakes, Ill.; his step-children, Mrs. Charles Waldron and Robert Krysiak of Niles; 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Burdue was born on May 12, 1880, (illegible text) came here, from Dodge City, Kans., in 1922. He was a retired boilermaker’s helper for the New York Central Railroad company.
Friends may call at the Pifer funeral home, where service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Hugh Lee, pastor of the New Apostolic church. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
