Quincy T. Cummings, 63, of 647 North 12th street, died Wednesday at Pawating Hospital. He had been ill since October 9.
Mr. Cummings, a railroad engineer, was born in LaPorte county, Ind., Aug. 2, 1891. He moved to Niles from Michigan City, Ind., in 1927.
Survivors are the widow, Helen; four children, Theodore H., of South Bend, Quincy of Niles, Mrs. Jack Wright of Niles and Mrs. Richard Hansen, also of Niles; two grandchildren; two brothers, Ira and George, both of LaPorte, two sisters, Mrs. Helen Peck of Valparaiso, Ind., and Mrs. Mary Woods of LaPorte.
He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
Friends may call at the Pifer Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. [illegible] Meussling in charge. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
