Zeph T. Davis

Zeph T. Davis, 1215 Bybee court, died at 2:10 p.m. Sunday in his home. He had been ill for some time.
Surviving are his wife, Estella; six sons, James and Sylvester, of Jackson, Howard, of San Diego, Calif., and Harley, Hal and Bert Davis, of Nile; four daughters, Mrs. Mable Humphrey and Mrs. Isabel Seridge, of Niles, Mrs. Madge Minderhout, of Benton Harbor, and Mrs. Velma Priebe, South Bend; 27 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Davis was born on July 27, 1869, in San Pierre, Ind., and came here from Knox, Ind., in 1916. He was a retired watchman at the National-Standard Company.
Friends may call at the Pifer Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m Tuesday. With the Rev. . . [illegible[ . . of the First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
