Mrs. Josephine Eycleshymer, of 222 North 13th street, died at 10:40 a.m today in Pawating Hospital following an illness of five weeks.

Mrs. Eycleshymer was born in Mendon, Mich., and came to Niles 50 years ago from LaGrange, Ind.  As a member of the First Presbyterian Church here she was active in many church groups and was member of the White Shrine of the Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving are: her husband, Arthur F.; a son, Harold Eycleshymer, of Niles; two daughters, Mrs. Fred Wedel, of Niles and Mrs. Hazel Ritchey, of Ludington; five grandchildren, and a brother, William Butcher, of Galesburg, Mich.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m Wednesday in the Kiger Funeral Home here with the Rev. T.M. Greenhoe, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home.
