Mrs. Maleta Palmer File, 52, died at her home at 1648 Regent street at 6 a.m. Today following a one week's illness.
She was born in Dowagiac on July 18, 1902, and lived in this area all her life. She was an employe of the A. & P. Grocery here for seven years.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph, and two nephews, Charles and Clare Palmer, all of Niles.
Friends may call at the Kiger Funeral Home where services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. T.M. Greenhoe, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
