Funeral services for Alice Algmin, 101, of 911 S. Third, Niles, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Halbritter Funeral Home by the Rev. Lloyd A. Phillips of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Burial will be at Silverbrook Cemetery.
Mrs. Algmin died at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday at Silverbrook Manor following an extended illness.
She was born Feb. 22, 1890, in Russia. A homemaker, she moved to this area in 1963.
In 1908, in Chicago, she married Mamet Algmin, who preceded her in death in 1935.
Survivors include two sons, Morrie Twigg of Punta Gorda, Fla., and Robert Twigg of Tappan,N.Y.; a son-in-law, James W. Sarley of Niles; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Aldona Sarley, died June 16, 1977.
Visitations will be 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
