John Webber Dies; Funeral on Monday
John M. Webber, 77, well known in Niles, died shortly after midnight this morning at his home, 322 Emmons street, following a heart attack. While he had been in ill health for some time, his death was unexpected.
The deceased was born in Kansas April 25, 1859 but moved to Michigan in early childhood and spent practically his entire lifetime in Niles. He was a member of the W.O.W. Lodge. Surviving besides his widow, Mrs. Lucy Webber, are a sister, Mrs. Clara Marrs, Buchanan, and a brother Emmett Webber, 18 North State street, Niles.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Price & Kiger funeral home with the Rev. Robert E. Meader, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church, officiating. Interment will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
