Mrs. Thomas Britton, Former Nilesite, Dies in Dowagiac
. . .[Illegible] . .. of Dowagiac, until eight years ago a resident of Niles, died Tuesday night at 11:30 in Lee Memorial hospital following a stroke.
Surviving is the husband and a brother, Herman Hossfeld, Dowagiac, also formerly from Niles.
Services will be conducted Friday at 3 in the McLaughlin funeral home, Dowagiac. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
Mr. Britton was a former railroad employe here and conducted a coal and ice business for several years prior to moving to Dowagiac.
