Harry W. Huss, 54, of 611 S. Cedar Road, New Lenox, Ill., formerly of Niles, died Friday at Silver Cross hospital there.
Mr. Huss, a yard conductor with the New York Central Railroad in Chicago, was born July 3, 1908, in Urbana, Ill. He lived here for many years before moving to Chicago, and went to New Lenox in 1952.
Survivors include his widow, Emmeline; a son, James W., Berrien Springs; a daughter, Gayle, New Lenox; a brother, Ralph, South Bend; and a granddaughter.
He was a member of the New Lenox Methodist Church and the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Baskerville Chapel in New Lenox. The Rev. Alfred H. Hunter will officiate. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Silverbrook Cemetery here.
Friends will be received at the funeral home from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m.
