CHARLES COOPER TAKEN BY DEATH
Charles O. Cooper, Pokagon, died at 8 Friday night in Pawating hospital after an illness of about one year.
Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Zimri Cooper, he was born March 20, 1881, in Niles. He was married Sept. 15, 1917, in Valparaiso, Ind., to Mabel Schwant, who survives. He was employed as an inspector in The Kawneer company.
Surviving besides his wife are one daughter, Iris, at home; one brother, Dr. Harry L. Cooper, South Bend; two sisters, Mrs. Harry C. Schick, Niles, and Mrs. Eloise Brown, Chicago.
The body is in the Price and Kiger chapel where services will be conducted at 2:30 Monday afternoon by Dr. Guy W. Simon. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
Mrs. Cooper will remain in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Schick, 553 Grant street, until after the services.
