BUCHANAN—Kenneth L. Crawford, 48, of 303 Berrien St., died at 7:40 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. He had been ill for a month. He was born July 10, 1917. He was employed as a welder at the Bryant Manufacturing Co. in Indianapolis.
Mr. Crawford was married July 23, 1960, to Esther Young Haak, who survives. Other survivors include his mother, Mrs. Daisy Korn Crawford, Berrien Springs; a daughter, Mrs. Joy Shafer, Berrien Springs; a son, Terry, Buchanan; a step-daughter, Vickie Haak, at home; a sister, Mrs. Helen Hathcock, Berrien Springs; two brothers, Dean, of Torrance, Calif., and Donald of Denver, Colo., and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Swem Funeral Home, the Rev. Robert V. Gouwens, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be at Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday.
