The many Niles friends of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Arthur of Mishawaka, formerly of this city, will sympathize with them in the death of their little son, Robert J. Arthur, last evening at 8 o'clock. The child became ill with measles about three weeks ago and complications developed and for several days before his death his life had been despaired of. The immediate cause of death was pneumonia. He was born in Mishawaka on Sept. 5, 1919. He is survived by his parents, an older sister, Marian, and a younger brother, William; also by his grandmothers, Mrs. Hiram Arthur of Dowagiac and Mrs. Emma Hobart of Mishawaka. On account of the illness with measles of William Arthur, the funeral services will be held at the Coates funeral room in Mishawaka tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The body will be brought to Niles for burial at Silver Brook cemetery.
