NILES--Mrs. Nora Harker, 78, of 16 Marmont St., died at 2:45 a.m. today at Pawating Hospital, where she was admitted Wednesday.
Born Dec. 15, 1895, at Wakarusa, Ind., Mrs. Harker had lived at Niles most of her life. Her husband, Samuel, died a year ago this month.
Surviving are four sons, Richard and William of Niles, Don of Jackson and Jack of Walhalla, Mich.; four brothers, John Dell of Granger, Ind., Ira Dell of Peru, Ind., Jacob Dell of Hollywood, Fla., and Charles Dell of Phoenix, Ariz.; four sisters, Grace Lake of Niles, Rosa Hall of Dowagiac, Dorothy Gonzaliz of Van Nuys, Calif., and Mrs. Alma Pence of Anaheim, Calif. six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am. Saturday at the Pifer Chapel of the Swem-Smith Funeral Home. The Rev. Harold Boland, pastor of the First Assembly of God Church, will officiate and burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral chapel after 10 a.m. Friday.
