NILES--Mrs. Mattie L. Haslett, 82, of 2030 Portage Rd., died at 10:35 a.m. today in Pawating Hospital.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Halbritter Funeral Home.

NILES--Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie L. Haslett, 82, of 2030 Portage Rd., who died Monday in Pawating Hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Halbritter Funeral Home.
Officiating will be the Rev. John Wyngarden, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Slverbrook Cemetery.
Friends may call after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Haslett was born Sept. 10, 1891, in Alma Center, Wis., and had lived here since 1898. On Dec. 5, 1909,in Buchanan, she married Claude L. Haslett, who survives. She was a member of the Advent Christian Church.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Haslett is survived by two sons, Donald C. of Stevensivlle[sic] and Hubert H. of Niles; a sister, Mrs. Theoda Warren of Indianapolis, Ind., nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
