Funeral services for Mary Maxine Hansen, 66, of 424 South Saint Joseph ave., Niles, are at 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 8 at Halbritter Funeral Home by the Rev. Carol H. Bastin of First Christian Church in Dowagiac, and Pastor Collin D. Seitz of Community Evangelical Free, Niles.

Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles.

She died at 10:25 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Ind., following a brief illness.

She was born February 9, 1931 in Benton Township.

She lived in Niles since 1949.  She served 14 years at Logan Industries in South Bend, retiring in December of 1996.

She worked at Electro-Voice, Inc., and Metalform, both of Buchanan, and was a graduate of Niles High School.  She enjoyed her flower garden and caring for and observing birds in her yard.

Survivors include a daughter, Marcia Marker of Niles; a son, Jerry Hansen Jr. of Niles; four sisters, Beverly Lundberg of Niles, Dorothy Fisher of Paw Paw, Lois Priest of Benzonia, and Wilma "Jean" Flickinger of West Allis, Wis.; two brothers, Donald Green of Albany, Ga., and Robert L. Green of Niles; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Halbritter Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made for the care of the clients of Logan Industries.
