August G. Landeck, 74, of route two, Berrien Springs, was dead on arrival at Pawating Hospital, Sunday at 8:30 p.m., following an extended illness.
On Oct. 30, 1943, he married Agnes Tollas in St. Joseph.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marvin Kraft of Niles; and Mrs. John Zinn of Tampa, Fla.; two sons, Allan and George, both of Niles; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Clarence Gurgle of Chicago; and two brothers, Jacob of Chicago and Edward of Phoenix, Ariz.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m., in the Halbritter-Swem Funeral Home with the Rev. Arlan E. Schlundt officiating.
Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home afternoon Wednesday.
