Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church here for Mrs. Mary L. Schaber, 72, of 514 Howard street, who died at 11:45 a.m. Thursday in Pawating Hospital following an illness of seven months. The Rev. Herbert Meussling, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Mrs. Schaber was born Jan. 27, 1882, in Germany and came to Niles 46 years ago from Sawyer. She was a member of St. John's Church, the Royal Neighbors of America and Loyal Star No. 13, of Niles. She was married March 12, 1908, in Three Oaks to Charles Schaber, who survives.
Also surviving are: three sons, Clyde and Lorenzo, both of Niles, and Ralph, of Buchanan; four grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. August Noack, of Coloma, and Mrs. Edward Block, of Scottsdale.
Friends may call at the Kiger Funeral Home here. All members of the Royal Neighbors of America here are asked to meet at 1:45 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Church to attend funeral services in a body.
